Position Summary

Under direction of a team of researchers and physicians, assists in the creation content for online education tool\(s\) for patients\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Conducts reviews of scientific literature and drafts evidence summaries\.

+ Using evidence summaries, drafts easy\-to\-understand, engaging answers to commonly asked questions patients have about their medications and illnesses\.

+ Communicates team feedback about website design to the consulting team that manages website development\.

+ Maintains medical content on the patient tool website\.

+ Maintains workflows and triage of user submitted questions\.

+ Updates training materials for new web content assistants\. Edits content of more junior web content assistants as needed\.

+ Assists in managing administrative functions of user accounts\.

+ Coordinates meeting agendas and assists with other administrative tasks as needed\.


+ High School Diploma


Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Technical writing, Communications, or a related field, is preferred\.

Approximately 1\-2 years of experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content\.

Experience working in the education, research, or health care sectors highly desired\.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Strong literature research and writing skills\.

+ Ability to take direction and feedback\.
