  • Assist the President in the general operation and planning for the community college, budget development and monitoring, faculty and staff hiring, economic and workforce development initiatives and implementation, and facility utilization.
  • Oversee administration of the educational programs of the college (both credit and non-credit). In conjunction with academic administrators, develop and implement academic programs and procedures.
  • Oversee administration of academic and academic support resources. In conjunction with both executive and academic administrators, project and plan for personnel, fiscal and physical resources needed to support quality academic and academic support programming.
  • In conjunction with chief student service officer, ensure the effectiveness of operations and initiatives that rely on both student services and academic units.
  • Supervise and evaluate associate vice presidents for academic affairs (AVPAAs), division deans, executive director of Workforce Development and Training, and office administrative assistants.
  • Coordinate and track on student success initiatives situated in Academic Affairs.
  • Oversee evaluation, promotion, and tenure process in Academic Affairs.

Requirements

PhD in a related field.

Five (5) years of related professional experience.
