Description Position Summary
This position provides administrative support to the Office of Research Integrity. The office oversees integrity with legal and ethical requirements as they relate to animal research, biosafety and conflict of interest, and occupational health for research conducted by WCMC.Q faculty, students and staff. The office provides management and administrative support to various oversight committees, and coordinates with various WCMC.Q and WCMC.New York offices, government agencies, funding bodies and collaborating institutions in Qatar and abroad. The office functions in a rapidly developing research environment and integrity staff must adapt to change, evolving standards, and multiple sets of rules and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
+ Support specific conflict of interest reporting completed by external and internal study personnel, students and volunteers who are participating in research including publicizing reporting requirements, and monitoring integrity.

+ Maintain proper filing and archiving of documents related to the Research Integrity Office.

+ Assist in daily follow ups related to the Occupational Health Program by assisting employees and researchers with the necessary medical clearance steps.

+ Route all forms/paperwork through the appropriate process involving all the necessary stakeholders, as appropriate, including WCMC.Q EH&S, Global & Public Health, consulting physicians, and QF’s HSSE, as applicable

+ Assist in the logistics for training activities, administer evaluations of training, and maintain training completion records.

+ Compile data from various sources needed for reports to internal and external stakeholders.

+ Provide administrative support including arranging meetings, raising tickets, taking notes, managing correspondence, arranging travel, raising shopping carts, follow.up on purchase requests, and other admin support.related duties.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience
Minimum 2 years previous experience working in office environment.
Experience with academic research or research integrity is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft office products; including word processing, presentation software and spreadsheets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proven customer service skills are required.

+ Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information is required

+ Previously demonstrated ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information.

+ Excellent organizational skills, with ability to multi.task while maintaining attention to detail, are required.

+ Fluency in English required.
