Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Director of Student Affairs, this role is responsible for providing administrative support for students events and activities\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Process the student events entries in the system

+ Communicate with students regarding FM & ITS requests

+ Communicate with Student Center, Recreation Center and QF for reservations and events set\-up

+ Liaise with Finance department to assist with processing the orders for our student events

+ Assist in planning the major student affairs events \(Example: International Exchange Trip\)

+ Assist in coordinating the collaborative projects with other departments \(Example: Student Wellness Symposium\)

+ Manage the events data entry for the dean office \(Events\)

+ Performs other related duties as assigned\.


+ Bachelor's Degree


Equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered\.

3 years related administrative experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures\.

+ Strong customer service skills\.

+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.

Licenses and Certifications

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Work is completed in office environment\.

Approximately 60% is computer based, 40% desk office based\.

The job may require extended and varying work hours to meet demands\.

Enrollment has grown rapidly from 25 first year pre\-medical students in fall 2002 to over 200 students from more than 30 countries as we entered our sixth year of operation in September 2007\.
