Position Summary







Provides technical support, expertise and guidance on applications and hardware\. Serves as first tier response to application and hardware issues\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Provides administrative systems analysis and operations support and ensures the overall proper operation of both Radiology hardware and software\.



+ Provides education to department personnel on workflow between various applications\.



+ Supports the inter\-networking requirements of end users and departments for seamless integration of applications and data from a variety of systems and platforms\.



+ In conjunction with the other ITS divisions, assist in the planning, purchase, and maintenance of web servers, appliances, software, and infrastructure\.



+ Maintains effective communication with department personnel, NYPH\-IS, WCM\-ITS, and POIS to ensure effective operations\.



+ Oversees facility and equipment issues, including repairs, fire and safety maintenance, security maintenance, housekeeping, office and medical waste removal\. Negotiates vendor contracts\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree in related field







Experience







Three to five years of previous work related experience\.Knowledge of client/server support, PC hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and proficiency with computers\.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills\.



+ Strong attention to detail\.



+ Strong organizational skills\.



+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment\.



+ Ability to plan and prioritize work while responding flexibly to rapidly changing priorities\.
