Position Summary







Assists in directing the day\-to\-day operations surrounding budgetary and financial activities\. This roles also oversees and completes complex budgeting and financial reporting tasks and projects\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Directs centralized adminitrative operations, IT support, staffing, HR management and quality and service components\. Develops and implements plans that improve performance\.



+ Oversees equipment inventory, managed deparmental insurance, maintenance contracts, ongoing operation of leased administrative and laboratory equipment



+ Manages space inventory, oversees construction projects for departmental expansion, maintains workstation updates across all locations\.



+ Coaches and leads adminstrators for education and research\.



+ Develops and approves administrative operations policies and procedures, ensures consistency across divisions



+ Directs orientation, onboarding, offboarding of administrative and faculty



+ Directs faculty affairs and development initiatives in conjunction with Vice Chair



+ Supervises rollout of administrative and research systems for department, acts as champion for updates



+ Directs scheduling and administrative support of faculty







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Approximately 7 years of experience in a financial\-related role with at least 5 years of experience working in a budget or financial analyst/reporting position\.







Intermediate to expert skills with spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, and internet research methods\.







Experience working in a higher education, not\-for\-profit or health care related organization







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of an institution\.
