Position Summary

Act as liaison between the business and IT groups to ensure all requirements are met and translated to a technical solution\. Responsible for drafting user requirements, process flows, test cases and assists with training and communications\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Provide support for the tools and processes within the Clinical Genomics program\. Act as a liaison between the business and IT functional areas\.

+ Applies business and IT knowledge and experience to work with IT to formulate an IT solution for a business problem\.

+ Develops test plans and conducts the necessary tests to confirm the technical solution is meeting the needs of the business\.

+ Prepares, develops and conducts clients and systems training\.

+ Manage inventory and traceability of user requirements, functional requirements and technical design ensuring all business requirements are being met\.

+ Manage the documentation and archiving of project deliverables per standards and templates\.

+ Participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance support to the laboratories\.

+ Collaborate with Education and Training groups to facilitate development of test specific curriculum and training\.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field


Minimum 5 years of experience Business Analyst experience, including management of small to medium projects\.

Experience with administering technical applications, electronic tools and databases; understands Part 11 compliance and validation requirements\.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Proven ability to effectively lead cross\-functional teams\.

+ Ability to establish collaborative working relationships and in managing multiple projects and deadlines\.

+ Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders\.

Licenses and Certifications

+ International Institute of Business Analysis \(IIBA\) certification or similar preferred\.
