Position Summary



Provides education and support across technologies and applications that service all WCM educational programs for both faculty and students, and collaborates with external vendors and internal ITS groups to ensure appropriate delivery and value for the users\.



Job Responsibilities



+ Manages assigned tasks and performs system configuration as is necessary to support project and operational initiatives across the educational programs\. Provides technical support to all ETG teams\.

+ Supports user trainings from Vendors to ensure appropriate level of user audience and understanding\. Performs/ensures environment setups for trainings to occur including software, hardware and data\.

+ Performs all data extractions as is necessary to support business reporting needs, including but not limited to, CQI and Institutional Reporting\.

+ Supports all operations necessary to ensure all Educational systems and transactions are processed correctly and on schedule\. Supports internal and external audits, disaster recovery efforts and vendor application upgrades\.

+ Performs quality assurance and testing on all configurations and coding efforts to ensure that business requirements are met\.

+ Supports reporting extraction needs from both the Education business as well as Institutional Reporting\. Supports the technical needs of the CQI team to ensure LCME compliance\.

+ Reviews vendor, industry and institutional changes for impacts to the applications from both a technical and outcomes perspective\.

+ Supports project initiatives by providing activities and associated durations for completion as well as any risks and issues to support project prioritizations and implementations\.

+ Documents functional specifications as it relates to both system configuration changes as well as coding needs; this includes documentation for any system interfaces or extractions\.

+ Manages vendor communications and changes including management of all tickets submitted and resolved by third party vendors\.

+ Performs analysis and determines resolution for Level 3 tickets received into the unit\. Supports staff members and colleagues in ticket completion within specified guidelines and timeframes\.



Education



+ Bachelor's Degree



Experience



2\+ years experience in systems configuration and systems analysis\.



3\+ years experience in education technology preferably in higher education\.



Experience working with reporting tools as well as comprehensive knowledge of SQL\.



Exposure to Medical School programs and practices is a plus\.



Experience working with database reporting tools, particularly Info Maker is desired\.



Experience working in ERP or SIS systems is desired, particularly, Jenzabar EX SIS\.

+ Ability to facilitate discussions and work collaboratively within ITS as well as external customers and vendors\.

+ Ability to communicate through written and verbal directives\.

+ Ability to work with others in a fast\-paced, changing environment\.

+ Demonstrated attention to detail, and time management\.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands



On a daily basis, position requires working in an office environment where there are relatively few physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise, and the like\.



Occasional meetings or clinical staff interactions in typical patient care areas may be required though direct patient exposure is not routine\.



Travel between office locations will be required\.



Occasional moving of computer equipment or similar objects up to approximately 25lbs will be required to expedite projects\.



Availability during off\-hours and weekends for go\-lives, testing, and emergencies is a regular part of the job\.
