Position Summary

Leads quality assurance testing, assists with building and maintaining QA best practices, tactical planning and implementation of WCM\-wide site and accessibility maintenance, and mananging marketing platforms for all WCM digital products including web sites and mobile applications\. Participates in projects, site builds, and web operations as needed\.

The position is expected to contribute to a culture of patient\-centered development and technical innovation\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Performs complex quality assurance testing for new web sites, mobile apps, new features, and enhancements\.

+ Programs and maintains all quality assurance test plans and activities for new web sites, mobile apps, new features and enhancements\. Reviews/updates QA procedures to maintain standards and best practices to ensure production changes are error/bug free\.

+ Programs and maintains reporting to create an automated audit plans to flag and identify site problems and accessibility issues to be addressed by the appropriate stakeholder\(s\)\.

+ Manages all web analytics accounts on behalf of all WCM web sites and applications\. Ensures analytics accounts, properties, and views are managed, audited and maintained\. Audits user access on regular basis\.

+ Develops, tests, implements and documents all tracking codes and event management on WCM sites in conjunction with all marketing and business requirements\.

+ Assists with the maintenance and analysis of service operations reports for continual service improvements\.

+ Assists in the coordination of web maintenance communications with team members, department colleagues, and WCM stakeholders\.

+ Assists in knowledge management for all Digital Engagement supported web sites and mobile apps that assist with quick turnaround of incidents and provide self\-service information for stakeholders\.

+ Monitors incident/issue queues for web/mobile services\. Executes on standard operations work requests for web sites/applications and participates in web/mobile projects as needed\. Participates in on\-call schedule for off\-hours monitoring/emergencies\.

+ Stays current on the latest trends in digital experience, web content management, web experience management, and social media for healthcare and higher education entities\.

+ Performs other duties as assigned or required\.


+ Bachelor's Degree


Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration, or equivalent industry experience in healthcare, education or other relevant field\. Additional four \(4\) years of work experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree\.

Minimum four \(4\) years of IT support or web support experience, and a strong understanding of web systems\.

Minimum three \(3\) years of performing quality assurance testing on web sites or mobile applications\.

Experience working with Jira, ServiceNow, or work management and issue tracking applications\.

Experience with web content management systems such as Drupal\.

Experience managing and configuring web monitoring and marketing platforms such as Site Improve or Google Marketing Platform\.

Experience in healthcare or higher education a plus\.

Experience building quality assurance test plans desired\.

Experience working with reporting toolsets and analyzing and presenting data preferred\.

Experience with and understanding of traditional project management methodologies and best practices desired\.

Experience with and understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies such as agile/scrum and kanban a plus\.

+ Self\-motivated and self\-organized with minimal direction\. Ability to maintain multiple, sometimes unrelated workstreams simultaneously\.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the institution\.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Position requires working in an office environment where there are some physical discomforts such as dust, dirt, noise and the like are present\. Ability to work off\-hours and weekends for go\-lives, testing and emergencies, as well as light travel between office locations, primarily within NYC is required\.

Occasional meetings or clinical staff interactions in typical patient care areas may be required through direct patient exposure is not expected\. Occasional moving of computer equipment or similar objects up to approximately 50 lbs\. may be required to expedite projects\.

As a member of the Information Technologies and Service Department, you may have exposure and/or access to protected health information \(PHI\) as part of your normal duties\. Access to data within systems that contain significant portions of confidential medical records may be necessary to do your job, however, viewing of that information is uncommon and generally incidental\.

With regards to HIPAA and protection of patient's privacy, it is the responsibility of each Information and Technology Services employee to limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties\.
