Position Summary







Directs the administrative operations for the department across four campuses\. Supervises managers and administrators of various service lines within the department to effectively meet departmental goals\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Directs centralized administrative operations, including HR management & IT support\. Serves as liaison among service lines & directs managers in the areas of quality & administrative service components\. Develops & implements plans that improve performance\.



+ Oversees equipment inventory; manages departmental insurance, maintenance contracts, ongoing operation of leased administrative and laboratory equipment\.



+ Manages space inventory, oversees construction projects for departmental expansion, supervises technical staff and maintains business machines and computers across all locations\.



+ Directly supervises Communications Manager, Quality Administrator and other service line supervisors, provides coaching assists with HR issues, provides coverage for these managers during vacancies\.



+ Develops and approves administrative operations policies and procedures, ensures consistency across divisions\.



+ Directs the overall processes of employee orientation, onboarding, off boarding of administrative staff and faculty\.



+ Directs Faculty affairs and development initiatives in conjunction with Vice Chair\.



+ Supervises rollout of administrative and research systems for department, acts as champion for updates\.



+ Directs clinical scheduling, compensation operations and administrative support of faculty\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Approximately 5\-8 years of administrative and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting\.







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Excellent knowledge of physician practice management, human resources management, and principles and best practices in healthcare administration\.



+ Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority over direct reports, establish and maintain quality control standards, analyze expense and productivity reports, team build and forecast and manage change



+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, highly organized and ability to act as a role model for staff\.
