Description Position Summary
Provides regulatory and data support for an investigator.initiated protocol team and study investigators part of mult.center trial management operations; provides back up coverage for institutional Clinical Study Evaluation Committee .CSEC. meetings.
Job Responsibilities
+ Provides support and oversight for multicenter trial management operations; communicates with collaborators outside of WCM and provides follow.up support to ensure compliance with study procedures at external participating centers.

+ Assists with protocol.specific database design, case report form .CRF. development and data verification. Participates in monitoring visits to review and query data and regulatory documents.

+ Responsible for the collection, distribution and maintenance of regulatory documents from participating sites.

+ Assists with study start.up at outside sites, including distributing regulatory documents and following up to ensure all required documents are received at WCM; participates in conducting Site Initiation Visits .SIVs. at participating sites

+ Communicates multicenter policies to investigator and study teams within the institution, and presents multicenter policies within staff meetings and other meetings, as appropriate.

+ Provides back.up coverage as an Administrator for CSEC committee meetings. This includes reviewing CSEC application materials for completeness and preparing/organizing the distribution of review materials to committee members in advance of the meeting.

+ Responsible for maintaining the CSEC database and ensures all data is entered accurately and transmitted in a timely manner. Extracts data from the database and provides reports on CSEC metrics upon request.

+ Ensures that CSEC reviews are completed and signed, meeting minutes are prepared and distributed, and that follow.up documentation and communications are completed and tracked.

+ Ensures that results of CSEC reviews are disseminated to the investigators and research staff. Adheres to standard operating procedures .SOPs. and departmental practices, and uses the appropriate templates to disseminate accurate information.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
+ High School Diploma
Experience
Approximately 2 or more years of related research experience, preferably in the area of clinical trial management.
Knowledge of FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and Good Clinical Practice.
Familiarity with the REDCap database, particularly creating a database for clinical trial management is highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Familiarity with medical terminology.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office, data management databases, and data tracking tools.

+ Demonstrated strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and employ a high level of accuracy.

+ Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact with multiple constituencies and exercise "people skills".

+ Proven ability to work independently and under minimal direction but as an effective team player.

+ Superior follow.up skills while exercising diplomacy and tact, in working with faculty, coordinators, and staff.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and ability to serve as the administrator for meetings before 9 am and after 5 pm.
