Position Summary







Oversees the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies that will drive enrollment and maintain the retention of subjects for clinical research projects\. This role oversees all aspects of clinical research projects by planning, implementing and managing the process involved\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Spearheads subject recruitment & retention for enrolling studies\. Oversees the development, implementation & execution of recruiting & retention campaigns\. Analyzes cost benefit ratios & leverages data to continuously grow recruitment & retention efforts\.



+ Develops metrics to monitor & evaluate success of subject recruitment & retention techniques\. Designs & owns the marketing function required to ensure that studies meet subject recruitment & retention goals\. Maintains departments social media presence\.



+ Manages multiple, highly complex & stringently regulated clinical research protocols\.



+ Sets & manages project expectations with team members/stakeholders\. Manages risk throughout the project life cycle & makes contingency plans to manage issues that pose risk to budget, timely delivery or functionality\.



+ Provides stakeholders with the status updates, issues, key activities and any changes to the scope of the overall protocol\.



+ Generates, maintains and ensures compliance of all regulatory documents\. Assists in development of clinical research Standard Operating Procedures \(SOPs\) and initiates new policies and procedures in accordance with program growth\.



+ Identifies potential SAE/AE in compliance with all regulation/guidelines and ensures timely report to regulatory agencies\.



+ Serves as liaison to the Institutional Review Boards, CTSC \(CTSC: Weill and Weill Affiliations\), NIH, DSMBs and CSEC\. Tracks approval process and ensures all deadlines are met\. Keeps abreast on the latest clinical research regulations and guidelines\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Masters Degree desired\.







Approximately 4\+ years clinical research experience







Subject recruitment and retention experience







Certification by SoCRA, ACRP, and/or RAC a plus\.







Marketing experience preferred\.







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Ability to foster smooth communications and teamwork among clinical research faculty, fellows, and staff\.



+ Excellent communication skills \(both verbal and written\)\.



+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.
