Position Summary







Assists with large scale health services research projects within the New York City Clinical Data Research Network \(NYC\-CDRN\), which is focused on developing an accessible, sustainable, scalable, clinical data network facilitate patient\-centered research, learning healthcare systems, and a national research network\. This role supports work for the Health System Demonstration Project focused on high need and high cost patients\. This will include refinement and development of computable phenotypes, research and analysis, support of manuscript development and working on required presentations and project meetings







Job Responsibilities







+ Assists with various research project activities as assigned\.



+ Attends project meetings, records meeting minutes and action items\.



+ Assists with literature reviews and research projects\.



+ Assists in ensuring IRB protocols are up to date and maintained including preparing continuing reviews, amendments and submitting new protocols\.



+ Assists in writing, formatting, and submitting scientific manuscripts to peer\-reviewed journals



+ Helps coordinate lectures events and presentations as required including corresponding with speakers, developing materials and setting agendas\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Prior experience in academic medical research preferred, but not required\.







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.



+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.



+ Willingness to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects and priorities\.



+ Flexible individual, motivated to learn



+ Ability to take initiative and work independently



+ Demonstrated strong communication skills\.



+ Analytical skills\.
