Position Summary

A team member within the All of Us Research Program at Weill Cornell Medicines Healthcare Policy and Research Department\. The program is funded by the National Institutes of Health \(NIH\) and aims to enroll 1M participants nationwide\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the enrollment of participants including: electronic consent, capture of physical measurements, documentation of participant demographics and details, specimen collection, labeling and delivery to the laboratory\.

+ Responsible for knowledge of and strict adherence to NIH protocols for the program and for all enrollment steps\.

+ Collects specimens \(blood, saliva and urine\) and adheres to strict labeling and handling protocols, as well as collection timelines as governed by program protocols\.

+ Responsible for communication and collaboration with physician champions and practice staff to complete enrollment steps according to protocols\.

+ Responsible for detailed and accurate data capture of program and participant elements into external \(NIH\) and internal databases and websites, according to NIH protocols\.

+ Responsible for scheduling participants for enrollment using electronic calendars, electronic invitations, and/or healthcare software scheduling tools\.

+ Responsible for communication with participants leading up to enrollment appointment \(sending reminders, providing guidance for completion of online steps, etc\.\)\.

+ Responsible for placing outreach phone calls to recruit new participants for enrollment\.

+ Responsible for knowing and conveying all program elements to include program background, enrollment steps, FAQs, and relevant protocol aspects to interested participants\.

+ Serves as ambassador and program expert while manning tables and booths in high traffic areas and at community events to increase awareness and gain enrollments\.

+ Collects basic demographic information from interested participants, enters the data into the programs customer relationship management system, and follows\-up to secure enrollment\.

+ If certified, may be required to perform phlebotomy for specimen collection\.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned\.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field


Bi\-lingual \(English/Spanish\) is desirable\.

Database entry and management experience is preferred\.

Previous work in a clinical setting is preferred\.

Experience with conducting and carrying out protocols and research coordination required\.

Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful\.

Phlebotomy skills and/or certification desired\. Candidate will be required to complete WCM competency process if he/she has prior experience\. Opportunity may exist to be trained in phlebotomy if candidate is not certified\.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Strict attention to detail required to maintain integrity of study protocols and processes\.

+ Strong computer and technology skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite \(Outlook emails and calendars, Excel, PPT\) and database entry \(RedCap\)\.

+ Strong organizational skills required to complete tasks in sequential order and to ensure multi\-tasking does not negatively impact protocol steps\.

+ Ability to interact with multiple constituencies \(i\.e\. participants of all demographics, administration, physicians, nurses, technicians\)\.

+ Interpersonal skills required to be a part of and to work together as a team\.

+ Strong communication skills that can be tailored depending on the level of the organization you are interacting with\.

+ Ability to manage up as needed in order to escalate concerns and deviations in protocol\.

+ Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor\.

May be required to work during evening and/or weekend enrollment events related to the program\.

May be required to stand/walk for extended periods of time\.
