Opportunity at a Glance

The position is responsible for all sales, marketing and operational efforts of DeVryWorks of DeVry University products and services within an assigned territory.  Manages a team of regional managers of local accounts by monitors and holds team accountable to performance objectives, activity goals, client relations, and related partnership activity.  Creates territory strategy and executes with team to achieve client partnership goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Will be accountable for hiring, training and managing performance for regional team of local account managers.
  • Works with the National Director, Partner Engagement to develop territory plans for sales, marketing and execution efforts that support the Corporate Partnership growth goals within their territory.

  • Provides day-to-day leadership in development of strategies and tactics to grow market share and increase new students from Corporate Partnerships, while ensuring a superior customer/student experience within their territory.
  • Conducts field performance evaluations and provides feedback about performance to direct reports; works with each employee to create goals, monitors goal achievement, and provides one-on-one coaching as needed.

  • Manages budgets as prepared by National Director, Partner Engagement and prepares periodic reports and evaluations of region operations compared to objectives.  Utilizes Central Services in budget preparation and smooth implementation of operational policies and Procedures. Collaborates with other functional channel teams to align goals and maximize effectiveness of objectives.
  • Works closely with the National Account Team, Managers of Partner Engagement, Central Services and Account Management in development of strategies to increase sales efforts at firms and corporations combined with ongoing account maintenance.
  • Participates in strategic planning for new products and works with Regional Leaders and Managers of Local Accounts to implement new product rollouts.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with post-graduate degree pred.
  • At least 10-12 years experience, pably in sales, sales management, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions.
  • Experience in successfully managing a remote field team.
  • A demonstrated record of success in developing and implementing operating plans resulting in significant top and bottom line results.
  • Ability to analyze reports and use the information to successfully manage a team. 
  • Strong supervisory skills required with well developed managerial and leadership skills to demonstrate coach and drive team to successful outcomes.
  • Skilled relationship builder and negotiator combined with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to market, sell, and communicate KCCL services and DeVry University programs to a wide audience.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively manage others in a team-based environment.
  • Self-starting, self-motivating, highly organized individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel 60%.
  • General PC, Microsoft Office and CRM skills required.
