Position Summary







Under guidance from faculty leadership and oversight from the Center for Perioperative Outcomes Operations Administrator, leads the delivery of various projects with both internal and external stakeholders to support the mission of the Department of Anesthesiologys Education Division within the defined scope of time and budget\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Leads, designs, manages, and executes projects through all phases of the project life cycle, including initiation, needs assessment, requirements and specifications, design, implementation, and maintenance to approved budget, scope and schedule\.



+ Responsible for effectively scoping projects, acquiring stakeholder buy\-in, and establishing metrics that will be used to measure success\. Develops and maintains structured project plans, action items and meeting minutes\.



+ Manages and tracks resource utilization relative to overall project budget and timeline to ensure adequate distribution of work and overall effectiveness\.



+ Manages stakeholder expectations, proactively resolving conflict to successfully meet project timelines and deliverables\.



+ Leads meetings of project workgroups, including facilitating discussion around project deliverables, identifying action items, and assigning tasks to team members for follow up and completion\.



+ Coordinates and performs collection, analysis, and assessment for both quantitative and qualitative data\.



+ Creates presentations for report outs, including relevant visual presentation materials and written narrative as needed\.



+ Engages and advises faculty leadership and administration throughout the project, obtaining critical decisions and guidance, and ensuring continuous departmental and organizational commitment\.



+ Manages risk throughout the project life cycle and makes contingency plans to manage issues that pose risk to budget, timely delivery, or functionality\.



+ Conducts post\-implementation reviews to ensure plan objectives are met evaluating successes and areas for improvement\. Identifies process improvement opportunities\.



+ Develops and presents recommendations for scaling projects\.



+ Develops deep understanding of regulatory landscape and maintains ongoing projects to meet regulatory requirements\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Masters degree is highly desired\.







Approximately 3\-5 years of relevant experience\.







Project management professional certification is preferred\.







Experience in education preferred

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and demands, establish priorities and work effectively in a deadline driven environment; accuracy and attention to detail in the performance of duties is of critical importance\.



+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.



+ Experience with project management software\.
