Description Position Summary
Responsible for helping to build and manage the Children’s Brain Tumor Project .CBTP. brand and all aspects of marketing communications in order to raise awareness of and fundraising for the organization. In collaboration with other team members, set the organization’s strategic fundraising agenda to achieve its revenue goals through the solicitation of individual, partnership, corporate, and foundation support and grants.
Job Responsibilities
+ In collaboration with key stakeholder team members, responsible for short and long term strategic brand planning. Creates comprehensive development plans with targeted goals, objectives, methods, quantifiable outcomes, and timelines.

+ Designs, directs and executes strategic marketing plans to support the department's programmatic growth and development.

+ Continuously analyzes current communications and designs/implements new, more cost effective standardized systems of communications to target audiences.

+ Initiates and coordinates special events to support marketing objectives.

+ Provides strategic direction to a web designers and writers and works collaboratively to upgrade, enhance and maintain the department’s website. Establishes outcome measures to monitor effectiveness and utilization.

+ Analyzes, develops and implements marketing strategies for new programs and services; prepares individualized marketing strategies for new physician recruitments. Monitors performance to objectives, adjusting strategy/focus as necessary.

+ Identifies funding needs and opportunities to support/promote program initiatives; develops strategies for prospective donors/philanthropy campaigns and fundraising events.

+ Develops and prepares marketing material for target media and philanthropic prospects; tracks and updates sponsors on developments and initiatives in clinical care, research and/or education programs.

+ Investigates and identifies donor prospects through market analysis and networking. Serves as liaison with hospital/college marketing, public affairs and development staff to increase exposure of department’s faculty/services among target audiences.

+ Prepares annual reports on marketing and philanthropic activities, tracks outcomes and trends; prepares analyses for strategic marketing plan. Ensures marketing materials have consistent image and branding.

+ Develops and manages annual operating budget for marketing and philanthropy development.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience
Approximately 4.8 years of experience in strategic marketing and fundraising; preferably within the health care industry and/or an academic medical center.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Demonstrated creativity and analytical thinking; visionary attributes, demonstrated ability to bring ideas to the table.

+ Ability to estimate work, organize, plan and schedule multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.

+ Advanced level of communication and interpersonal skills.
