Description Position Summary
Under general supervision, provides programmatic support for departmental educational programs
Job Responsibilities
+ Coordinates the application, recruitment, selection and/or onboarding processes for departmental educational/trainee program.s.. May need to contact applicants for missing or incomplete application information.

+ Maintains electronic and hard copy files and databases. Maintains integrity of information.

+ Prepares program materials.

+ Advises students on issues related to curriculum .needs for courses, transfers, etc., consulting with faculty as appropriate.

+ Maintains evaluation, examination, and other records for each student to evaluate and certify students’ academic progress toward graduation. Counsels students on issues with their progress.

+ Maintains and provides program data instrumental to institutional training grants, fellowships, state and federal funding, recruiting, and donor relations.

+ Organizes program event activity, including budgeting, conference rooms/meeting space, agenda development and on.site coordination.

+ Organizes internal and external marketing. Manages communications, electronic and hard copy, of program initiatives, events and milestones.

+ Generates reports for analysis.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field

+ Associate's Degree
Experience
Approximately 3 years of related experience in an academic environment
