Position Summary



Under guidance, manages the daily operational and administrative activities of the Emergency Departments Telehealth Program, a shared initiative with New York Presbyterian Hospital\.



Job Responsibilities



+ Validates and tracks operational program metrics and clinical quality indicators such as length of stay, return visits, patient satisfaction and telemedicine exams\.

+ Develops a deep understanding of federal, state and industry standards of care and telemedicine clinical regulations\. Advocates for telehealth policy and development\.

+ Onboards new telehealth physicians\.

+ Develops training materials related to the program\. Monitors and adjusts for industry developments and changes\.

+ Coordinates planned residency electives in telehealth\.

+ Works with NYPH facilities, IT, telecomm, marketing, public relations and patient services teams to ensure smooth operations of the shared program\.

+ Initiates, maintains and coordinates continuity of care programs with primary care providers, specialty care and patients\.



Education



+ Bachelor's Degree in related field



Experience



Approximately 3\-5 years of related experience\.



Project management experience\.



Previous technology start\-up experience\.



Medical facility administrative experience is desired\.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.

+ Previous experience with scheduling software\.

+ Ability to independently triage competing priorities in multiple job domains\.

+ Ability to excel working independently with minimal guidance\.
