Position Summary

The NYC Elder Abuse Center at Weill Cornell Medicine \(NYCEAC\) works with local, statewide and national partners to develop and implement innovative and collaborative approaches to the complex problem of elder mistreatment and to improve the ways professionals, organizations and systems respond to it\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Negotiate, develop and review contracts for consultants, contract sub\-recipients, and others\.

+ Prepare and track fiscal and data reports for government and other funders\. Track programmatic and data reports to funders\.

+ Develop budgets and prepare budget modifications and invoices for all of NYCEAC's programs, and advise on cost saving measures\.

+ Manage office, e\.g\., secure office space and problem\-solve space needs and issues; oversee ordering office equipment; communicate relevant policy to staff\. Manage expenses, supplies and other office systems and protocols\.

+ Communicate with internal contacts \(e\.g\., contracts office, IP\) and external contacts \(e\.g\., funders\) to facilitate the above scope of work\.

+ Performs other duties as assigned\.


+ Bachelor's Degree


MPA or other related degree preferred

Approximately 3\-5 years of experience in office management, administration and budget preparation

Experience with New York City, New York State, and federal contracts \(invoicing; reporting\) highly desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills\.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Exceptional time management and organizational skills

+ Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills\.

+ Strong budgeting and analytical skills\.
