Position Summary



Assists with the development, implementation and management of the Billing/General Compliance and Privacy education program for Weill Cornell Medicine \(WCM\)\. Responsible for managing the compliance websites and newsletters and working with the departments to identify, develop and focused trainings as needed\.



Job Responsibilities



+ Assists in course design and development using WCM tools and training platforms\. Serves as a department liaison for training updates/training request\. Manages CME program program for all department courses\.

+ Develops and creates training metrics to track staff compliance and WCM programs\. Develops and monitors training compliance for providers and staff, notifies compliance managers and/or revelant parties of outstanding trainings due\.

+ Works with department staff to identify training needs\. Manages audit feedback meetings scheduling/followup\.

+ Develops and generates regular and consistent reporting metrics to track training metrics\. Creates department reports monthly or adhoc as needed\. Provides departments with proative updates on training requirements\.

+ Develops annual webinar schedule, distributes and registers participants\. Responsible for the content and updates on the compliance and privacy website\. Responsible for coordinating the development, managemet and implementation of compliance newsletters\.

+ Coordinates and manages multiple training delivery methods including updates and alerts\. Provides on\-going end user support and new employee training\.

+ Schedules, coordinates and faciltates specialized lectures and meetings\. Take minutes for committee meetings\.

+ Assists with the development and implementation of the compliance training programs for the compliance and privacy office education program\.



Education



+ Bachelor's Degree in related field



Experience



Approximately 3\-5 years in healthcare, education and/or business setting with at least 1 year working on training/education\.



Certified Professional Coder \(CPC\) or Certified Health care Compliance \(CHC\) is highly desired\.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



+ Effective oral and written communication skills\.

+ Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple priorities\.
