Position Summary

Assist with practice integration by working with POIS to successfully transition the practice to Epic EMR and Practice Management modules and to ensure a quick return to pre\-install productivity levels\. Assists with practice reviews to assure an efficient, compliant and patient friendly practice\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Provides onsite practice management support during the Epic go\-live and posts go\-live period as needed\.

+ Assists with periodic practice reviews particularly focused on provider efficiency, schedule utilization, coding optimization, reduction of missing charges, meaningful use, etc\.

+ Serves as a liaison between the practice and department management as well as other central units \(for example, billing compliance, POBO, POIS, ITS, etc\)\.

+ Assists with the implementation of revenue cycle policies and procedures\. Monitors department fee schedule and standard Epic workqueue and coordinates any necessary revisions and updates\.

+ Identify specialty/practice specific billing workflows, WQs and system build to ensure appropriate charge capture and reduce cash\-flow lag\. Works with the billing compliance liaison to ensure that users are appropriately trained\.

+ Assist review of existing front end workflows; identify and implement workflow revisions to achieve a successful system implementation\. Reviews the business requirement documents created by POIS, propose changes/revisions as needed\.

+ Monitor revenue cycle, patient access, patient satisfaction, and telephone metrics\. Identify issues and communicate practice health to WCPN management and practice leadership\. Identify practice anomalies and coordinate with the DA to strategize solutions\.

+ Work with the practice to set initial key performance indicator levels as well as metrics stipulated in the good Install Incentive\. Monitor progress of the metrics during the post go\-live period to ensure a quick return to pre live productivity levels\.

+ Work with identified practices to gather front end data detailed in the request for information\. Serve as a part of the analysis team and provides input to aid the decision regarding which practices are integrated into the Weill Cornell Physician Network\.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field


2\-4 years of previous health care practice management or consulting related experience\.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently\.

+ Previous experience working with eMR systems\.

+ Ability to multi\-task and work under pressure; ability to prioritize competing demands and complete action items efficiently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines\.
