Position Summary



Under the Direction of the Associate Director, Marketing Communications, the Manager, Branding, and Communications will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns including activations and events\. The incumbent will work closely with the Associate Director on strategic and high\-profile campaigns as assigned, managing communication and marketing efforts\. The Manager, Branding, and Communications will develop a strong understanding of WCM\-Q brand identity and work to maintain and promote brand integrity throughout all internal and external marketing efforts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all resources are leveraged effectively in support of departmental goals\.



Job Responsibilities



+ Manages the end to end delivery of high\-profile marketing campaigns in line with WCM\-Qs marketing strategy\.

+ Supports the development of brand and marketing strategies\.

+ Influences and inputs into marketing plans throughout the campaign planning process\.

+ Establishes, develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in relation to delivery of key initiatives\.

+ Collaborates with internal teams and outside agencies on the creation and production of marketing materials designed to heighten awareness of campaigns\.

+ Ensures a high\-level understanding of target audience\(s\) through research, insights and segmentation information\.

+ Coordinates with stakeholders on any co\-branding or co\-marketing efforts for joint or partnered initiatives\.

+ Monitors campaign delivery, performance, and margin to ensure all targets are met\.

+ Effectively manages timelines throughout the campaign process, including collating research and insights, generating briefs, media and creative presentations, development of plans and concepts, approvals, production and implementation\.

+ Ensure that WCM\-Qs brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels\.

+ Works collaboratively with teams across the business to facilitate the successful delivery of campaigns, including research and insights, corporate, commercial, digital, content, public relations and evaluation\.

+ Communicates regularly with the wider WCM\-Q organization to integrate, promote and leverage campaigns with other activities in the college\.

+ Monitors campaign performance and works with relevant colleagues and agencies to optimize activity to maximize results\. Carries out post\-campaign analysis to provide insights with stakeholders and to inform future marketing and communications activity\.

+ Keeps abreast of industry and marketing developments, trends and best practice and applies as appropriate to campaigns\.

+ Manages pre\-event activities including all logistical aspects such as transportation, arranging accommodation for guests and coordinating visas\.

+ Collaborates across internal and external client groups to define event goals and objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand\.

+ Ensures procurement and financial procedures are followed in line with company policy\.

+ Performs other related duties as directed\.



Education



+ Bachelor's Degree in related field



Experience



Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field\.



Minimum 5 years experience in an academic or health care branding/marketing role\.



Strong experience in leading marketing campaigns\.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



+ Advanced level of communication and interpersonal skills\.

+ Fluency in Arabic language\.

+ Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns\.

+ Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix\.

+ Strong analytical skills and a creative mind\.

+ Up\-to\-date with latest trends and marketing best practices\.

+ Able to work under pressure, to deadlines and in a constantly evolving business\.

Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar was established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar



Foundation\. The first medical school in Qatar and a pioneer of coeducation at university level, WCM\-Q offers an integrated program of pre\-medical and medical studies leading to the Cornell University M\.D\. degree\. Teaching is by Cornell and Weill Cornell faculty, including physicians at Hamad Medical Corporation \(HMC\) who hold Weill Cornell appointments\.



Enrollment has grown rapidly from 25 first year pre\-medical students in fall 2002 to over 200 students from more than 30 countries as we entered our sixth year of operation in September 2007\.
