Position Summary







Responsible for electronic records and database management, website and online survey management, and operating support for the governance activities at Weill Cornell Medicine\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Manages \(creates, tracks, and updates\) electronic recordkeeping for corporate governance in a fully\-digitized workplace\. Serves as point person to ensure all electronic files are properly identified, posted and organized\.



+ Coordinates annual and interim data collection and distribution activities for Overseers, Faculty Councils and periodic reporting projects\.



+ Regularly reviews and updates internal databases, member records and public and secure websites for the Board of Overseers and Faculty Councils\.



+ Coordinates logistics for all governance activities, including scheduling of standing and ad\-hoc committee and council meetings, and facilitating event support and production/distribution of materials\.



+ Drafts correspondence related to governance actions and membership changes\.



+ As needed, edits/proofs materials before sending to production\.



+ Conducts annual election process for General Faculty Council, including all communications with faculty constituents and coordination of online voting with ITS representative\(s\)\.



+ Responsible for daily office operations, including mail, deliveries, ordering supplies and working with internal and external service providers to maintain an efficient office environment\.



+ Serves as first point of contact for telephone and email inquiries to the Office of the Secretary\. Triages inquiries as needed\.



+ Performs other related duties as assigned\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree







Experience







Approximately 3\-5 years of relevant experience, including electronic information/document management and working with internal and external clients at a senior management level\.







Experience working in an academic environment is helpful\.







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Technologically proficient, including working in a networked, paperless environment\.



+ Knowledgeable in electronic document retention/archiving, information retrieval, and database management\.



+ Experienced with Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office \(MS Word, Excel,



+ Demonstrated strong customer service orientation\.



+ Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communications skills\.



+ Keen attention to detail\.



+ Ability to work in a deadline driven environment\.

Primary worksite is off\-campus requiring travel between various office locations\.







Flexibility in availability as work assignments necessitate\.
