    Reporting to the Director, Human Resources—Colleague Relations, the Human Resources Generalist provides general support and assists in the execution of various programs and procedures in support of Colleague Relations and the overall Human Resources operations.  S/he also provides excellent colleague relations through responding to colleague inquiries in the following areas: company policy and procedure, payroll, and benefits. 


    • Provide coaching and support to colleagues and leaders on general HR policy questions within service level agreements and escalates issues within a timely manner.
    • Supports in appropriate minimally complex investigations and employment matters
    • Supports onboarding process and conducts new colleague orientations
    • Creates, manages and distributes reports on colleague relations metrics


    • Perform administrative tasks involving the following:
      • Administer and oversee compliance and tracking of I-9s
      • Unemployment inquiries
      • Severance documents
      • Documentation for workplace ADA accommodations
      • Personnel file requests
      • Data entry into HRIS systems and case management tool


    • Assist Director and HR leadership with projects as needed.



    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or other related discipline is required.
    • Three years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar position required.   Knowledge of employee relations pred.
    • Professional certification in Human Resources desired.
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management and employees.
    • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and various HRIS software applications.
