Job Details

Position Summary

Assists in the development, production and distribution of reports focused on the financial and operational health of key strategic initiatives within the department and/or institution\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Prepares and analyzes routine and ad\-hoc financial reports for any discrepancies\. Compiles summaries as needed\. Escalates said reports or analysis for review if necessary\.

+ Reviews and reconciles accounts, financial transactions, documentation and/or financial reports\. Investigates and corrects discrepancies\. Escalates issues as needed\.

+ Assists in preparing datasets necessary for reporting and analysis\.

+ Assists in the preparation of business development projects and/or project plans related to specific initiatives\. Provides data for implementation of approved project plans\.

+ Proactively reviews and updates reporting templates to ensure the most value\-added reports for distribution\.

+ Assists in reconciling budget to actual expense activity for current initiatives and future growth opportunities\.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned\.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field


College degree in related field is preferred\.

Approximately 3 years of related experience\.

+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.

+ Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills\.

+ Ability to multi\-task and work well in a team\-oriented atmosphere\.

+ Demonstrated ability to remain focused despite frequent interruptions\.

+ Ability to treat confidential information with utmost discretion\.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software\.

+ Demonstrates ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor\.

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner with all departmental faculty and staff, as well as other institutional representatives\.
