Position Summary







Provides a full range of administrative, financial, analytical and other services associated with sponsored research activities, including post\-award management of funds and budgets\. This role manages post\-award activities for a variety of sponsored projects including federal, foundation and other grants, industrial contracts, and Subawards\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Assists investigators and departmental staff with WCM post award administration policies and procedures\.



+ Maintains and updates user accounts in Federal online systems\.



+ Performs review and management of administrative documents required for post award grant account creation\.



+ Maintains data within a grant management system\.



+ Collaborates with Research Integrity and other research support departments to ensure compliance of investigators and laboratories\.



+ Processes awards and agreements when no terms or conditions negotiation is required



+ Reviews and approves all grant related financial transactions\.



+ Performs final budget review for incoming awards



+ Creates and supports financial accounts within the institutional financial system, including account master data\.



+ Corrects data entry issues that arise from internal audit reviews\.



+ Supports SOP metrics measurement by employing tracking tools and preparing summary reports\.



+ Collaborates with investigators and staff to ensure appropriate and timely responses\.



+ Performs other related duties as assigned\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree in related field







Experience







Degree pursuing candidates may be considered based on years of experience\.







Approximately 4\+ years data entry experience\.







Approximately 2\+ years research administration budget review\.







Understanding of research administration\.







Healthcare knowledge\- clinical setting, administration or operations desired\.







Database and data maintenance experience preferred\.







Research Integrity \(Conflicts, IRB, DSMB, IBC, IACUC, etc\.\) policy knowledge highly desired\.







Quality and audit experience a plus\.







SAP experience a plus\.







InfoEd experience a plus\.







Institutional research experience a plus\.







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.



+ Knowledge of budgeting concepts



+ Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills\.



+ Ability to succeed in a fast\-paced and complex environment\.



+ Excellent organization skills\.
