Position Summary

Responsible for assisting with the managing of financial, business and administrative affairs of the department\. Primary responsibilities will fall into three categories: real estate, space management, and budget\. This role requires interacting with WCMs external landlords and internal departments to ensure day to day finance operations run smoothly\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Processes standard and recurring financial transactions for the department\. Monitors and ensures payments are made timely and accurately\.

+ Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of various financial reports; compiles and analyzes financial data on a regular and ad\-hoc basis\.

+ Prepares and presents financial materials/findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders\.

+ Serves as a special project person for senior leadership within the department\.

+ Maintains accuracy of various financial analyses and reports used in forecasting capital project needs and expenses\.

+ Appraises, reconciles and closes project financial records\.

+ Serves as the point person to landlords for owned/leased space\. Builds strong working relationships and represents WCM's interests\.

+ Reviews and updates existing lease abstracts on a rolling basis and as necessary\.

+ Provides reccommedations on ways to achieve efficiencies and cost reductions across the lease portfolio\.

+ Collaborates with internal departments to maintain drawings and/or data for owned and leased space\.

+ Assists with space management assessment functions as needed, including walk\-throughs and measurements of space\.

+ Maintains various databases as needed related to the function of role\.

+ Produces departmental specific documents, literature, etc\., as related to the function of the role\.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field


Approximately 2\-5 years of experience in a similar position or experience in a position that utilizes business analytics\.

High level of computer proficiency including extensive experience in PowerPoint, Word and Excel\.

Experience analyzing legal documents such as leases and operating agreements\.

Experience in property management, real estate development, real estate law, or commercial real estate\.

Experience with CAD and architectural drawings preferred\.

+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.

+ Excellent communication skills \(both verbal and written\)\.
