Job Details

Position Summary

Under general supervision, provides administrative and logistical support in the planning and executing of events\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Schedules meetings and updates the events calendar\.

+ Tracks event attendance and registration\. Receives and records event payments\.

+ Requests campus room reservations and audio\-visual support\.

+ Maintains events files, as well as manages the archiving process

+ Tracks and submits event expenses and ensures prompt payment\.

+ Assists in the preparation and production of event materials\.

+ Provides on\-site event support at day and evening events\.

+ Orders supplies as authorized\. Ensures that needs are escalated appropriately\. Receives supply orders and confirms accuracy of delivery\.

+ Provides administrative support and performs other related duties as needed\.


+ High School Diploma


Approximately 1\-2 years of related experience\.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.

+ Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills\.

+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications\.

+ Demonstrated ability to multi\-task and prioritize in a fast\-paced environment\.

+ Demonstrated ability to remain focused despite frequent interruptions\.

+ Diplomatic and discreet\. Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information of often high\-profile individuals with care and discretion \(personal, healthcare, wealth, financial, and family information\)

+ Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor\.

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner with all departmental faculty and staff, as well as other institutional representatives\.
