Position Summary







Provides logistical and administrative support in the planning and executing of events\.







Job Responsibilities







+ Manages the events calendar\.



+ Tracks event attendance, registrations and event responses\.



+ Provides logistical support including room setup, audio visual requirements and catering\.



+ Maintains records of vendor related items and troubleshoots vendor issues\.



+ Tracks and submits event expenses and ensures prompt payment\.



+ Drafts and prepares event invitations and materials\.



+ Provides on\-site event management and support at day and evening events\.



+ Maintains inventory of supplies, equipment and/or reagents\. May order supplies/equipment/reagents as authorized or ensure that needs are escalated appropriately\. Receives supply orders and confirms accuracy of delivery\. May assist with cost control\.







Education







+ High School Diploma







Experience







Approximately 2 years of related event management experience







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Experience with meeting planning administration and integrated AV system operations\.







Licenses and Certifications







Working Conditions/Physical Demands







Ability to work overtime and evening hours as events necessitate\.
