Description Position Summary
The Office of Educational Development .OED. is an institutional resource for educational development and program evaluation. The Education Assessment Analyst will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and evaluation outcomes. The incumbent must have experience of using mixed methodologies for data reporting in the computerized environment. The appointee is expected to show a high degree of integrity, confidentiality and should be self.motivated.
Job Responsibilities
+ Conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis to support decision.making for program evaluation.

+ Organizes and integrates various offline and online data sources for conducting the periodic and longitudinal analysis of student and faculty perceptions and program outcomes.

+ Develops infographics and uses latest data visualization tools. Supports the effective presentation of assessment and evaluation outcomes. Enriches reports with statistical evidence .e.g., descriptive and inferential statistics and predictive analyses..

+ Collaborates with the Education Assessment Manager, and the Education Development Coordinator for developing the use of the software tools used by OED, and coordinates with the software vendor.s. for incorporating new requirements.

+ Provides support for organizing and scheduling meetings and recording meeting minutes.

+ Responds to requests for in.depth thematic analysis of faculty and student perceptions, and provides support in developing evaluation survey tools.

+ Contributes to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and process flow for OED.

+ Disseminates relevant assessment and evaluation outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, and collaborates for efficient archival and retrieval of related information.

+ Performs other duties as assigned by the OED Director or Manager, or the leadership team for the Division of Medical Education.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field

+ Master's Degree in related field
Experience
Three or more years experience in a similar position within a computerized environment.
Demonstrated experience to turn qualitative and quantitative data into compelling hypothesis. Expert level proficiency in at least two data analysis packages .e.g. SPSS, SAS, Stata, R.packages, etc..
Experience with Microsoft office products; including word processing, presentation software and spreadsheets.
Demonstrated working knowledge and familiarity with assessment and evaluation tools.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Attention to detail and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

+ Must possess excellent communication skills, written and oral

+ Previously demonstrated basic proficiency in written and spoken English.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and data

+ Demonstrated creativity and analytical thinking; visionary attributes, demonstrated ability to bring ideas to the table.
