Position Summary







Under supervision, provides a wide range of administrative and secretarial support for the office







Job Responsibilities







+ Serves as the first point of face\-to\-face contact with staff and visitors to the office\.



+ Interfaces with staff addressing questions regarding general office procedures\.



+ Distributes mail and packages\.



+ Manages various mass distributions as needed\.



+ Schedules meetings/appointments as needed and reserves conference rooms for staff members\. Assists with organization and preparation for all meetings, workshops, events and presentations and ensures proper room set\-up\.



+ Maintains general appearance of the office space\.



+ Maintains and manages kitchen equipment\. Monitors proper usage, schedules repairs when necessary and trains staff on safety and maintenance protocols\.



+ Assists with travel arrangements when needed\.







Education







+ High school diploma or GED







Experience







Approximately 1 year of prior administrative support experience







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.



+ Excellent communication skills \(both verbal and written\)\.



+ Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor\.
