Position Summary







Under direction, performs administrative, data collection and operational activities for clinical research studies This role also maintains databases that will be used for data analysis







Job Responsibilities







+ Assists research team with the enrollment, treatment, and data collection of research subjects\.



+ Ensures accurate and timely compilation of subject data\.



+ Reports all Serious Adverse Events \(SAEs\) to Institutional Review Board and other agencies, as required\.



+ Maintains research records pertinent to active participation as a member institution of cooperative groups and research consortiums\.



+ Reviews clinical charts and compiles laboratory and clinical data\.



+ Prepares and analyzes data reports\.



+ Prepares and coordinates all documents necessary to initiate and continue studies\.



+ Assists in the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts\.



+ Prepares graphs, tables, charts, slides and posters\.



+ Proofreads research materials and documents\.



+ Coordinates and participates in site visits and audits\. Ensures readiness and compliance\. Addresses and resolves issues uncovered during visit/audit\.







Education







+ High school diploma or GED







Experience







Previous related experience in a hospital, research, or university environment







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail\.



+ Ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands and prioritize work\.



+ Excellent communication skills \(both verbal and written\)\.
