Position Summary







Under supervision, the Compliance Systems Specialist oversees the operations and coordination of billing and compliance initiatives







Job Responsibilities







+ Generates reports for analysis\.



+ Develops and implements policies and procedures\.



+ Fields and disseminates recommendations to and from internal and external entities regarding the selection, configuration, implementation and use of Cloud environments, security technologies and core infrastructure\.



+ Monitors the real\-time compliance audit initiative and retrospective audit process\. Provides feedback on how to enhance real\-time intervention\.



+ Maintains knowledge of required compliance elements and serves as the compliance liaison for project staff\.







Education







+ Bachelor's Degree in related field







Experience







Approximately 2 years of related experience in medical records and/or physician billing







Knowledge, Skills and Abilities







+ Demonstrated knowledge of professional billing, including physician billing, reimbursement, and carrier relations\.



+ Demonstrated knowledge of third party reimbursement\.







Licenses and Certifications







+ Certified Professional Coder Certificate \(CPC\)
